Bobby Foster Sr. was born on June 30, 1951 in South Bend, Indiana to parents Clyde Foster Sr. and Lillie Foster. On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Bobby Ray Foster Sr. received his angel wings from heaven.
Bobby was one of 7 children. During his youth years he went by the nickname "Rapp" given to him by a friend. He was in a singing group with a few of his close friends. He worked as a chef for many years at the Holiday Inn, and retired after working many years as a custodian at the Ice Box. He was a warm-hearted man and would give the shirt off his back. And was also known to make you laugh through any situation. He was loved by all of his nieces and nephews and their friends. Everyone loved uncle Bobby!
Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Tristan Jerome Foster; his father and mother, Clyde Sr. and Lillie Foster; his brother, Clyde Foster Jr.; his sisters: Ruth Hankin and Irma Payne; his nephew, Lamar Foster; a special nephew, Joeseph Foster-Fennessee; a niece, Amy Parker; and another niece, Audrey Foster.
He's survived by his children: Rachel Carpenter, Crystal Macon, Bobby Foster Jr., Tavona Foster, Shalonda Lloyd, Shautae Llyod, and Victoria Llyod. He's also survived by 17 grandchildren; along with his sisters: Mary Louise Foster, Hurtha Bethany, and Mildred Parker; a host of favorite nieces and nephews; his brother-in-law, Dewayne Hodges; his first love and first wife, Jackie Foster; his second wife, Audrey Foster; and his third wife, Cynthia Coleman; very special nephews and nieces: James Hankin, Troy Lee, Andrew Lee, Shauntae Foster, Angie Hankin, and Terrance Foster; very special stepchildren: Elain Mayes, Sylvester Mayes, and Trimalle Mayes.
