Darren D. Turley Sr.

Mr. Darren D. Turley Sr. was a beloved husband, father, son, cousin, uncle, and nephew. He was a lifetime resident of South Bend, IN. He passed away at the age of 43 at 5:27 p.m. on January 9th, 2018 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend, IN.

Mr. Turley was born April 6, 1974 in South Bend, IN to Teresa Reed and Ester Burton Sr.

He met JoAnne McNair through a mutual friend on February 21, 1998.

He worked at Kmart for many years as a stocker. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time “Bubba Tee” and family.

Survivors left to cherish his loving memory are: his wife, JoAnne McNair; His son, Darren D. Turley Jr.; his daughter, Diana Turley; his mother, Teresa (Robert) Reed; his three brothers, Maurice (Cynthia) Burton, Fred Burton, and Ester Burton; two sisters, Samantha Griffin and Yolanda Campbell; four sister-in-law’s, Beverly (Karlos) Floyd, Selena McNair, Dianne McNair, and Serena (Sidney) Forester; all of South Bend, Indiana, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father Ester Burton Sr., Grandmother Wilma Thomas, and Uncle Edward Adams. 

Funeral services for Mr. Turley will be held on Saturday, January 20 at Alford's Mortuary at 4 PM with viewing one hour prior.
