Debra D. (Patterson) McCoy

Debra Denise Patterson McCoy, 60, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 9:25 p.m., on Tuesday, February 25, 2019 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Debra was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 22, 1958 to Freddie and Ruth (Buchanon) Patterson who both preceded her in death along sisters; Sylvia Patterson, Lois Buchanon and Gilbert Patterson.

Debra loved poetry, drawing and especially being around her children. She married Ted McCoy.

Debra leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Timecka Bush of Fort Myers, Florida, Timarra Bush of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ebony Bush and Treasure McCaster; five sons: Timothy Bush, Demond McCaster and David Patterson, all of South Bend, Indiana, Ivory McCaster of Kentucky, and Ronnie Drain of Gary, Indiana; 28 grandchildren; six sisters: Patsy Buchanon of California, Trudie Pickett, Shelia Harris and Jaketa Patterson, all of Merrillville, Indiana, Jean Gordon of Aetna, Indiana, and Barbara Tyler of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother: Frederick Patterson, the father of her nine children; Timothy Bush, Sr., of Las Vegas, Nevada; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
