Donna Laurence

Donna Monique Laurence, 50 of North Pagin Street, South Bend, Indiana, departed this life on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Hospice of St. Joseph County, South Bend, Indiana.

Donna was born June 26, 1967 in South Bend, Indiana, to Donald Land and Willa Mae (Green) Laurence. She received her formal education through the South Bend Community School system, graduating in 1986 from Clay High School. She formerly worked for McDonald’s, Corporate Services Group and Hava Maid and at the time of her death she worked for Wendy’s Corporation. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age.

She was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Her hobbies were singing, listening to music, going to movies, knitting, crocheting, cooking, Star Trek and Nascar.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Donald Land and Willa Laurence,  two sisters: Lynn Butler and Denise Armstrong; five brothers: Dennis Udongo, Donald Land Jr., George Pottinger, Delton Pottinger and Durand Pottinger.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Theresa Laurence, two sisters, Debra (Ron) Gay and Donna (Richard) Evans both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; five brothers: Pierre Laurence, Jacques Laurence and Franchot (Pamela) Laurence all of South Bend, Indiana, Dion (Joan) Laurence, Darvis (Schandra) Pottinger and Derwin (Janice) Pottinger all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Royce Laurence of Kentucky.
