Jean-Claude was born in Musanze-Rwanda on June 8, 1979. He was the firstborn of the family of three children (one brother and one sister) of Innocent NJEKUMURATA and Xavera MUKAHIGIRO.
When he was still young, he aspired to become later a journalist but changed his mind after discovering the computer and information technologies in the end of the 90s. He then pursued a career in information technologies. He graduated (Bachelor) in both Computer Sciences from Université Adventiste d’Afrique Central (Kigali, Rwanda) and in Geography-Biology-Education from the Kigali Institute of Education (Kigali, Rwanda) where he studied in parallel. He graduated (Master) in Computer Sciences from the Kampala Independent University (Kampala, Uganda). He held also a Master’s degree in network & Security from Telecom ParisTech (Paris, France)
He left France in 2015 for the United States, where he stayed and served in different domains and companies almost five years before dying tragically in a kayaking accident with a fall into St. Joseph River (Niles, Michigan, USA) while celebrating with his cousin and friends the new year 2020. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Jean-Claude was 40 years old.
He was single. He was an intelligent man, very sympathetic, friendly and with easy contact with people, very helpful, full of the joy of living with people from different backgrounds and walks of life and who always tried his best to help his neighbor as much as he could.
Let’s pray for him to rest in eternal peace with the Creator who called him back.
