Jerry Harris Sr.

Jerry “Little Choc” Harris, 69, passed away at home on Friday, August 9, 2019. Jerry was born on June 22, 1950 in Charleston, Missouri, to parents Elvin and Lullie (Jones) Harris.

Jerry was married on June 24, 1972 to Bettina Phillips. He had four children: Torriano Harris, Chavone (Marcel) Jones, Jerry (Rochandra) Harris and Tavella Harris.

Jerry worked for Bendix and Clark Equipment for many years. He was known for his unique laughter and music. He loved New Birth and Bobby Womack.

Jerry survived with 16 grandchildren; his sibling, Robert (Claudette) Cassel; four great grandchildren; special friends: Gerald Newhouse and Paul Sims; sister in law, Nancy Anderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by parents, Elvin and Lullie Harris; brothers: David and Eugene.
