Dear Kaniece: Empathy is "Your pain in My heart". When we lose a loved one, the pain, the grief and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to Jehovah's Word for comfort. (I Thessalonians 4:13) Have confidence in the Resurrection Hope, your sorrow will not be unrelenting, but as the Bible says, you will not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope. Jehovah has promised us that “the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing”. (1 Corinthians 15:26). So draw close to Jehovah God in prayer, and he promises that He himself will sustain you. (Psalm 55:22). Terry and I are praying for and with you.

I like to share some scriptural words of comfort. At Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28,29 God promise that we will see our dear love one again, and that death will be no more, it will be a guarantee reality. For more comforting information please view jw.org. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
