Lamar De’Shawn Foster, 18, passed away May 22, 2018.
Lamar was born August 10, 1999 in South Bend, IN to Michael DeAngelo and Shari Lynette (Glispie) Foster.
Lamar was particularly talented in graffiti drawing, enjoyed spending time with his son, and in his spare time he liked to play basketball. He was an extremely funny and outgoing person and will be deeply missed.
Lamar is survived by: his parents; Michael DeAngelo (Shari Lynette- Glispie) Foster, son; DeMarion Lamar Foster, three sisters; Elisha Hurmon, Nyla Foster, Mikae’la Foster, brother; Michael Foster Jr., two grandmothers; Ellen Harris Dorris and Hurtha Bethany, two great grandmothers; Pauline (Milton) Taylor and Ora Mae (Durrell) Glispie, one grandfather; John Johnson, seven special cousins; JaVante Jackson, Keith Taylor, Shanikka Jackson, Teri Foster, Tenise Foster, Teshiah Hockaday, Temyrah Hockaday, and Decarlo Hockaday, two close friends; Darrion Hubrins of Missouri and Treyvon Gunn, special uncle; Terrance Foster, and four special aunts; Paula Taylor of Missouri, Peachea Weatherspoon of Indianapolis, IN, Vilisia Johnson, and Tomeka Foster all of South Bend, IN and a host of family and friends.
Lamar was preceded in death by A sister; Makayla Foster, two brothers; Christopher Glispie and Anthony Foster, maternal grandfather; Alonzo Robinson, maternal great -grandparents; Durrell (Ora Mae) Glispie and Milton Taylor, maternal great-great grandparents; Edward (Lillie) Brown, paternal grandfather; Benny Ray Williams, paternal great-grandparents; Clyde (Lilly) Foster.
Services for Lamar De’Shawn Foster will be held at Alford's Mortuary on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with viewing one-hour prior.
