Leonard B. Dickens

Mr. Leonard Bernard Dickens, age 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend who resided on E. Corby Boulevard in South Bend, Indiana went home to be with the Lord at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday March 16, 2019 at his home.

He was born on February 15, 1956 in South Bend, Indiana to John Henry Dickens and Clouszell (Warner) Dickens. He united in holy matrimony on July 17, 1988 to E. Denise (Sanders) Dickens. He was preceded in death by his brother, RoMay Dickens; his sister, JoAnnn McKinney; and stepbrother, Tracy Martin.

Survivors left to cherish his memory included his wife of 30 years, E. Denise (Sanders) Dickens; one daughter, Rochelle Sanders of South Bend Indiana; one son, Charles Sanders of Marion, Indiana; six grandchildren; three brothers: LeVon (Denise) Dickens of Indianapolis, Indiana, Norman Dickens and Stanley (Karen) Dickens of South Bend, Indiana.
