Louise Davis

Ms. Louise Davis went home on Thursday June 28, 2018 in her home surrounded by
family. Louise was born on April 12, 1944 in South Bend, IN to the beautiful union of
Eugene and Ersaline (Binns) Davis. She was a graduate of Riley High School. She was
the owner of Lou’s Daycare where she provided her loving care to many children and
many of their children. After more than 30 years of service, she retired to Westfield, IN.
Even there, her heart would not allow her to say no a child that could benefit from her
spirit. Louise was a woman of faith. You could find her reading her bible, watching or
listening about “The Word” at any given moment. Because of her faith, she used every
opportunity to educate about the unconditional love of God.
She was the loving mother to six boys, Darin Barnes of Los Angeles, CA, Damani Woods
of South Bend, IN, Robert (Danisha) Hudson of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Dee Shawn
Davis, Jamarcus Davis, and Raheem Davis all of Westfield, IN and five daughters Tracy
Davis of Indianapolis, IN, Crysta (Thomas) Byers of Naples, FL, Donita Barnes of Los
Angeles, CA, Alysia (John) Baldwin of Indianapolis, IN and Breeana Davis of Westfield,
IN. She was a loving sister to four brothers Leon (Lois) Davis of South Bend, IN, Eugene
(Eleanor) Davis of Murfreesboro, TN, Jewell Davis of South Bend, IN, and David Davis
(deceased) and eight sisters Faygene Cannady, Lillian Stokes, Juanita Harris, Carol
Powell, and Sandra Davis of South Bend, IN, Gloria Harris, Betty Davis, and Kathleen
Lottie (all deceased). She was a loving granny to 16 grandchildren and three great
grandchildren. Lastly, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
