Mary Taylor

 Mary Christine Taylor peacefully transitioned from mortality to immortality at Wood Ridge Assisted Living on September 7, 2018 in South Bend, Indiana.
  
  Mary was born on March 10, 1922 to the late Eddie Williams and Atlenea Whitmore in Milan, Tennessee. Mary was preceded in death by her sister Ada and two brothers, Jams Earl and Freddie Whitmore. Mary gave her life to Christ at an early age. In 1956 Mary moved to South Bend where she later joined Grace AME Zion Church where she was a faithful member until her illness. Mary worked as a housekeeper for many years. Mary touched many lives on this journey. 
  
  Mary leaves to cherish her memory special friends, Mrs. Cornelius Shambry and Reverend Ardella Applewhite; a host of family and friends. Mary will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.

  Services for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Alford's Mortuary. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m.
