Minnie Sims

Minnie Sims, 61, of LaPorte Avenue in South Bend, Indiana, transitioned into eternal life on Monday September 9, 2019. Minnie was born on October 22, 1957 in Fortworth, Texas to Ramon Franklin and Gwen Franklin. 

Minnie loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed leisure activity such as playing Bingo. She was a member of Ramon Ministry Church. Minnie was employed by Taco Bell for 15 years, where she was the Assistant Manager.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Detrice Stevens and Deshawn Stevens; nine grandchildren: Patrice, Terrice, Andre, Ladre, Claudenisha, Kylie, Lynette, Gloria, and Haven; sisters: Cynthia, Charita, Shamondia, Simmona, Kala, Alisha, and Carla; brothers: Marion, Duane, Anthony, Gary, Richard, and Ramon; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss her.

Minnie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gwen Fay Franklin and Ramon Franklin.
