Myron G. Maxie, 54, departed his life on November 13, 2019 at his residence. Myron was born June 8, 1965 in South Bend, Indiana, to Robert Maxie and Mary (Hargro) Davis who both preceded him in death; along with a brother, Perry Allen Gordon; a sister, Shirley Ann Davis; step father-in-law, Robert T. Forrest; and stepson, (SPC) Jodie Henderson Jr.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia (Forrest) Maxie; stepchildren: Heather (Charles) McCalister, Deanna (Darryl) Means, Lucille (Austin) Benton, Patrick R. Henderson, Demetria Mann, Harold Mann, Tamora Lottie, Tamika (James) Bond, Tanisha (Chester) Wigfall, Michael Hunt Adkins, Samuel Jones, and Isheca (Earl) Oliver; 49 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; eight brothers: James (Florence) Davis III, Michael (Audrey) Davis, Robert James (Ruby) Maxie Jr., Donald Robert (Randi) Maxie, Ricky (Deneen) Maxie, Richard (Leslie) Maxie, Aaron (Deena) Gause and Tony (Brenda) Gause; six sisters: Joanne Davis, Toni (Earnest) Lee, Tina (Paul) Robinson, Roxanne (Onzie) Harris, Annie Walker, Mary Ann Maxie; the woman that was very near and dear to his heart aka his second mother, Mary Walker; his mother-in-law, Catherine A. Forrest; 39 nieces and nephews, 57 great-nieces and nephews, 11 great-great nieces and nephews; his best friend, David McKinstry; special friends: Geneva McKinstry and Darlene Simms; a special cousin, Michael Maxie; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
