Patricia A. Blount

Patricia Ann Blount, known to most as “Trish,” was born May 14, 1951 to the late Pasco and Dorothy Fleming. She was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. She attended school in the South Bend School district. Trish wore many hats, her passion was for caregiving. She would open her home to anyone and she never met a stranger. May her legacy live on. She loved to sing, play cards, and she was always the life of the party. She came to Christ at an early age and was very rooted in church. She believed and evangelized to others whenever she could, teaching and spreading his Good news. She was truly an amazing woman and she will truly be missed.

          On January 6, 2018 God whispered to her "Come My Child, You have earned your wings. It is time for you to come home and suffer no more. Your work here is done”. Trish was proceeded in death by her parents, Pasco and Dorothy Fleming. Her daughter, Dorthea Smith, her sister Carmen Fleming and 2 brothers Pasco Jr. and James Fleming.

          She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons Shawn D. Blount (Jennifer), George W. Blount (Tiffany), One sister Denise M. Fleming-Heard (Johnny), 2 Brothers Jeffery Fleming Sr. (Gina), Kenneth R. Fleming (Teretha).              7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way. 4 Special Sisters, Jean Brew, Dedra Baker, Everlena Sanders and Francine Eperson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, January 12, at 6 pm.
