Rita Beavers

Rita N. Beavers (Chynelle Brownlee) was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 2, 1948 to Vernell (Irving) Cunningham and Jesse Dave Brownlee Sr. (Lottie). Both preceded her in death.
  
  In the mid to late '80's, she began her fellowship with the Jehovah's Witnesses, where she was baptized in the Kingdom Hall, serving for more than 30 years.
  
  She moved from Chicago, to South Bend, IN in 1989, where she received her High School Equivalency Certificate.
  
  She worked with Family Literacy for the South Bend Community School Corporation for over 11 years before becoming ill.
  
  She leaves to mourn, 6 children: Marquitta Marie Napper (South Bend, IN), Joseph C. Brownlee {Debra} (South Bend, IN), Ronald Jesse Brownlee {Victoria} (South Bend, IN), Darryl T. Brownlee (Chicago, IL), Antwonita Butler Williams {Kendrick} (South Bend, IN), Juanella Nicole Beavers (South Bend, IN). (Joyce Brownlee preceded her in death) 4 sisters: Barbara Cooper {Jerry} (Chicago, IL), Tensi Rene Beavers (Chicago, IL), Linda K. Brownlee (South Bend, IN) and Shafona Brownlee (Atlanta, GA), 4 brothers: Ronald E. Beavers {Regina} (Springdale, MD), Stanley M. Beavers {Renea} (Chicago, IL), Archie Brownlee (Mark Tree, AR), Jesse Dave Brownlee Jr (South Bend, IN). (Reginald Ricky Beavers and Charles Beavers both preceded her in death), 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives, and her beloved dog, Max.
  
  She will be greatly missed.
  
  Services will be held on at Alford's Mortuary on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with viewing from noon to 1:00 p.m., at Alford's Mortuary.
