Rita L. Phillips

Rita L. Phillips, 63, of Curtis Drive, South Bend, IN., passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at her residence following an illness.
  Rita was born January 7, 1955 in Tacoma, WA., to Victor and Alberta (Lott) Phillips, Sr., who both preceded her in death along with two brothers; Alvin & Stanley Phillips.
  Rita worked at FW Means as a laborer for 13 years. Her passions were music & talking.
  Survivors include three daughters; Cassandra Phillips Lester of Arlington, TX., Sonya Phillips and Katrina Harris both of South Bend, IN., eight grandchildren; Lenisha, Mark, Torrey, Nakiya, Cory, Jamesa, Ranijiah and Corya, five great grandchildren; Brandon, Braylan, Mark, Jr., Dario, Jr., and Rayah, one sister; Hilda Jean Brunt of Chicago, IL., along with a host of other relatives and friends.
  Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m., to 3:00 p.m., at Alford's Mortuary.
