Terry Owens

Terry Owens was born March 11, 1960 and departed this life July 5, 2018.

He was born to the late Lucille P. Allen and James Owens in South Bend, Indiana.  Terry attended LaSalle High School where he graduated from in 1976 and later joined the United States Air Force, serving two terms from 1978 to 1984.  After the Air Force, Terry was a dedicated employee to O’Hare Airport for over 20 years and Fed Ex for over 18 years.  Terry dedicated his life to being a father and an even better grandfather.  He enjoyed taking his grandkids to baseball practice and swimming every Monday and Wednesday.  He will be missed and forever remembered by all those who knew and loved him, especially is daughters and grandkids.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lucille Allen and James Owens; one brother, Andre Owens; and his wife, Robbin Owens.

Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory, three daughters, Brittney Owens, Whitney Owens and Tiffany Booth; son-in-law, Wesley Booth; six grandchildren, Bryan Douglas, Amani Ware, Terry Owens, Troy Owens, Alexander Glenn III and Weston Booth, all of South Bend, Indiana; two sisters, Sharon Townsend of South Bend and Cathy Allen of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one brother, Michael Owens; a special friend, Ricky Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services for Mr. Terry Owens will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Alford’s Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted.  Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.  Visitation is 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
