Tonya Marie Chamgomo

Tonya Marie Griffin Chamogo was born January 23, 1967 to Leon Russ and Willie Mae Griffin Dorsey in St. Louis, MO.
Tonya departed this life in the early morning hours of October 11, 2018. She attended LaSalle High School but obtained her diploma from Penn High School. Tonya loved to watch movies and always check in on her family and friends. She confessed her love for Christ at St. Paul Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ. She is preceded in death by her mother; Willie Mae Griffin Dorsey, her father; Leon Russ, grandmothers; Oza Griffin and Alberta Russ. 
Tonya is survived by her husband; Paul Chamogo, persisters; Leona (Johnathen) Myirongo, Selina Dorsey, Rachshel Dorsey, Ruth (Stewart) Zimba, Brittney Dorsey Casandra Cook all of South Bend, IN., Crystal Jordan of Chicago, IL., Leondra Henton and Lesa Rucker both of St. Louis, MO., brothers; Leon Moore, Leon Hayes and Leandre’ Moore all of St. Louis, MO., her children; Harold (Kelsey) Davis, Exzavier McCaster, Lonnie Peate and Renarldo Griffin, her daughter; Nikitia Saulsbury all of South Bend, IN., along with a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at Alford's Mortuary . Viewing noon to 1.
