Willie James Williams, Sr., affectionately called “Son”, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018.
Willie was born in Belvoni, MS., on June 27, 1962 to Nason Hamilton who preceded him in death and Ada (Williams) Hamilton. On April 14, 1984 he married Lori Lax in South Bend, IN., who also preceded him in death in 2014. He worked as a welder for Lippert for over 9 years. He was a member of Pentecostal Cathedral Church where he served on the Fine Arts Committee, Usher Board and Armor Bearers. He was a jack of all trades; a mechanic, Plummer, electrician, carpenter, construction, etc.
Survivors left to cherish his loving memory include two daughters; Jamisha (Jason) Harris of South Bend and Te’Ara (Randy) Macon of Indianapolis, IN., one son; Willie James Williams, Jr., five grandchildren; Ryheeme McCleod, Jammiah Harris, Jaliah Harris, Kayden Macon and Randy Macon III, his mother; Ada Hamilton (Rev. Charles?) Blackmon, four sisters; Rosetta (James Smith) Hamilton, Betty Anderson and Dotsie Hamilton all of South Bend, IN., and Wendy Lewis of Chicago, IL., three brothers; Nason (Nena) Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN., Rev. Barney (Kathy) Lewis of Fort Wayne, IN., and Dale Hamilton of South Bend, IN., along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Pentecostal Cathedral Church on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 12:00 p.m., with viewing from 11:00 a.m., to noon at the church.
