Aaniyah Bromeling, known affectionately as Nyah, Ni-Ni, or Turtle to those who loved her, was a beacon of love, loyalty, and laughter in a world that often needed it. Born on May 20, 2006, in South Bend, Indiana, Aaniyah lived a life full of love, laughter, and an incredible amount of care for those around her. As her sister Stella Blair, I am honored to share the story of her life, a story that resonates with the beautiful spirit of a loving, smart, and supportive woman.
Aaniyah was a loving sister, a dedicated daughter, a proud mother, and a cherished friend. She was the cornerstone of our family, the glue that held us together, and the laughter that filled our home. Her vibrant spirit and loving nature were the essence of who she was. Aaniyah was a pillar of strength, a beacon of hope, and a source of comfort to all who knew her. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she gave her all when loving others. Her amazing work ethic was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Aaniyah's love for arts and crafts, her humor, and her kind and sensitive spirit were some of the many things that made her special. She had a knack for making everything around her beautiful, and she lived her life with a profound sense of joy that was contagious. Aaniyah loved animals, often bringing them home, much to our Dad's chagrin but never failing to bring a smile to his face. Her love and laughter will be missed until the end of time.
Aaniyah is survived by her father, Cliff Bromeling; her mother, Akissyha Badgett; her sisters, Stella Blair and Belinda Wilder; her brother, Dwight Badgett; and her grandparents, Susan Bromeling Alan Badgett, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia Badgett and Donald Sr.
Aaniyah will be buried with her beautiful baby girl, Marie Celeste Jamison.
