Adrene Eskridge (Fox) was born on December 12, 1949 in Duckhill, Mississippi, to Pero and OraDell Fox (Christian); she departed this life on May 20, 2021 after a great fight with cancer.
Adrene accepted Christ at an early age being baptized in Sweet Home, Mississippi. Adrene had to drop out of school at a young age to go work in the fields which helped her become the hard worker that she was. After leaving Mississippi the family relocated to Memph, Tennessee, where at the age of 18 she married Willie Glover and to this union she was blessed with two beautiful children: Titus Dwayne and Ora Treniece Glover.
When this union ended, she later 14ar married again to William Eskridge. Adrene left Memphis in 1975 and went to Joliet, Illinois, where she worked a couple of jobs before becoming a CNA at Sunny Hill Nursing Home where she worked for 18 years. Moving to South Bend, Indiana she worked for Cardinal Nursing Home until her retirement.
Adrene was a very caring, loving, funny (I mean really funny), sweet and kind person. She was an extremely good cook. She was an avid gardener, and she had a passion for sewing. She was loved by so many. To know her was to love her.
Adrene was preceded in death by her parents Pero and Ora Dell Fox; her son, Titus D. Glover; sisters: Mae Ida, Frances Mae, Celia Mae; brothers: Ydell Sr., L.D. Clyde, R. C., Willie, Sheldon and Joe; stepson, Jimmy Dell and Joe.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ora Treniece; stepdaughter, Shirley Ann, Peggy and Louise; three sisters, AImeter, Evelean, Geneva; two brothers: Pero Jr., and James Earl; eight great-grandchildren; special friends: Brenda Lana, Jimmy, Calvin; a host of nieces, nephew cousins and friends.
