Angela Ann Woods

Angela Ann Woods, Born October 9, 1958, in Caruthersville, MO to the union of Frankie M. (Cotton) Davis and Willie D. Woods Jr. Angela graduated class of 1976 from Riley High School, in South Bend, IN. Years later she continued her education at Ivy Tech College. Angela accepted Christ at an early age, trusting and believing in God. Angela enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sons, Tymaris, Damarius, Tyran and family. Angela had several activities that she found entertaining. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, watching Judge Judy, playing bingo, candy crush and she swore no one could beat her at spades! Angela also enjoyed cooking, with one of her specialties being vegetarian lasagna which no family member could master. The activity Angela found to be the most enjoyable was going to the casino. Throughout her career, Angela has held multiple positions, including working at Northern Indiana State Hospital, Target, Curtis Products, and Wal-Mart.
 

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Tymaris, Damarius and Tyran Lenard, All of South Bend, IN, mother Frankie M. Davis of South Bend, IN, 2nd Mom: Carolyn Oliver of Marion, IL, 17 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Gran, Four sisters: Barbara F, Graham, Gloria (Andrew) Sanders, Ulonda (Mark) Davis, all of South Bend, IN., Denise Woods of Marion, IL. Four brothers: Detrick (Hope) Woods of Sparta, IL., Daron and Derek Woods of Marion, IL, Desmond (April) Woods of West Memphis, AR. Special friends: Irene Koppelo of Highland, MI and Debbie Jennings of South Bend IN, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.

Angela was preceded in death by Willie D. Woods Jr, (Father), James Davis, (bonus Dad) Darrell Woods Sr (Brother), Annie B. Cotton (Grandmother), Carrie Woods (Grandmother), Willie D. Woods Sr, (grandfather), Ora Hobbs and Rosie B. Perkins (Aunts), Ann Parker (Cousin) Long time partner and father to her three sons, James R. Lenard, Jr.
