Antoinette Marie Easley-Wilson, born on a warm summer day, June 19, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, was a woman of vigor, love, and resilience, whose life was a testament to her spirit. Affectionately known as "Nette", she carried within her a love for life and family that was immeasurable. She made her journey home on March 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and fond memories.
Antoinette was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a profound love for baking and cooking, creating culinary delights that warmed the hearts and bellies of those lucky enough to taste them. A lover of Christmas movies, she found joy and solace in their heartfelt stories and festive cheer. A proud graduate of Southshore High School and Cornerstone Christian, where she obtained her GED, Antoinette was a lifelong learner. Her drive and determination led her to own and operate the Snack Shack, LLC. She also dedicated twenty years of her life to caring for others, working as a Patient Care Provider at Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Antoinette's most treasured moments were those spent with her family. She is survived by her loving wife, Pamela Wilson; her daughters, Diamond Easley, Markeshia Wilson, God-Daughters, Antoinette Marie McCauley, and Tonya Antoinette Mallett; her grandchildren, Patrick Guess, Zion Miller, Ro'Nyah Hines, Desman Miller Jr., Za'dyen Miller, RoTony Hines Jr., Ziarie Miller, Malakai Miller, and Klarity Miller; her siblings, Manita (Kareem) Felton, Alia Qahhaar, Victoria Bolton, Fareedah Flowers, Robert (Dameka) Easley, William (Shuntale) Easley, Omar Sr., Alfonso Jr., and God sister, Jessalyn Jackson Jr.; mother Sharon Westerfield, along with a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.
Antoinette was preceded in death by her father, Alfonso Qahhaar; her grandson, Lavell Easley; her brothers, Norman Westerdfield Jr., and Jason Qahhaar; and her stepfather, Norman Westerfield Sr.
A memorial service to celebrate Antoinette's vibrant life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 3:00 am EDT at North 22, located at 5202 West Linden Avenue, South Bend, Indiana.
