Antwann L. Hayes, aka ‘Chef Pork Chop,’ was born on March 26, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois to Alfonso Eugene Hayes Sr., and Rose Rogers-Hunt.
He graduated from LeCordon Bleu Culinary Arts School in 2017. He was also employed by Alro Steel as a crane operator. He and Joann Lee were married in Chicago, Illinois on July 23, 2007. Antwann enjoyed cooking, singing, helping others, feeding others, and spending time with family.
Loving family members who survive include one daughter, Brea Hutchison of Indianapolis, Indiana; two stepdaughters, Tyara Hoskins and Tia Hoskins, both of Chicago, Illinois; three stepsons, Paul Harris, Willie Murray, and Cordell Taylor, all of Chicago, Illinois; four grandchildren; sisters, Flora (Willie) Murray and Felicia Sims, both of South Bend, Indiana and Brenda Joyce Washington of Chicago, Illinois; brothers, Johnny L. (Felicia) Sims of Elkhart, Indiana, Alfonso E. (Lakesha Hayes and David (Beatriz) Hayes of South Bend, Indiana, along with a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso E. Hayes Sr., brother, Ronald E. Hayes; sister, Barbara Hayes; grandmother, Ida Mae Gilusson, stepfather, John Hunt; nephew, Davon Taylor; and sister-in-law, Betty Joann Lee.
