Arvester Fleming

Arvester Devon Fleming, 22, of South Bend, IN., passed away at 6:13 p.m., on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN.
  Arvester was born May 31, 1996 to David A. Fleming Sr. and Gwendolyn Scales both of South Bend, IN. He graduated from John Adams High School in 2013 and attended Ivy Tech following. He worked for Lippert Component. He was a faithful member of Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC. He aspired to become a rapper. He was such a loving father and will be deeply missed. 
  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents; David A. Fleming, Sr., and Gwendolyn Scales, one daughter; Bella Fleming, five sisters; Gladys Chantel Scales of Indianapolis, IN., Ashley Fleming of Orlando, FL., Jasmine Bolden, Tatyanna Fleming, and Alexis Scales all of South Bend, IN., one brother; David A. Fleming Jr. six nieces; Jada Garza, Callisto Clark, Layla Schmidt, Daylah Fleming, Delayah Fleming, and Kylie Scott, four nephews; Jeffrey Garza III, Jalen Clark, David A. Fleming III, and Aston Owens, four uncles; Johnny (Errika) Scales, Robert (Amy) Parker, James Stokes, and Matthew (Lisa) Willis, six aunts; Virgina Parker, Mary (Raymond) Dotson, Kenyatta Sylvester, Tyrese McFarrin, Angie Stokes, and Racheryle Flemming, maternal grandparents; Johnny and Gladys Scales, paternal grandmother; JoAnne Jones, paternal great grandmother Lillian Stokes along with a host of other relatives and friends.

  Arvester was preceded in death by his his uncle; Alfred Scales, great uncle; Jannath Gleming, three great aunts; Mary Parker, Barbara Parker, and Victoria Davis- Herman; two cousins; Quentin Rey Dotson and Eddie Scales, paternal grandfather; Arvester Fleming, Jr., maternal great grandmother; Jessie May Parker, and paternal great grandmother Lillian Stokes.
  Services will be held at Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing from 10:00 a.m., to 11:00 a.m.
  Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
