Aster Wade Obituary

Aster Lee Robinson Wade passed away into eternal rest on September 27th, 2025, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born on August 7th, 1941, in Wyatt Missouri, to her parents Bennie Robinson and Viola Lloyd Robinson, who preceded her and death. Aster confessed her faith at age 16. She was a member of the Holly Grove M.B Church in Wyatt, Missouri.

At age 19, she united in holy matrimony, to Elmer Lee Wade, and they had a secure life! They have a daughter Jeanette Wade Haines, one granddaughter, Shante J. Haines and one great-granddaughter Ariah J. Pittman.

After dropping out of the 10th grade at Lincoln High School in Charleston, Missouri; Aster, went back to school at the age of 40 and finished the 12th grade! Then she attended Southwestern Michigan college in Dowagiac, Michigan. She later entered the work field and was employed at Dana Corporation as a general laborer and did foster care through Michigan Eastern Star.

She believed in education! She believed that if a person wanted a good paying career, they must go to school! She was proud of her daughter's two associate degrees. Aster was very good at saving money. She was laid back and had lots of wisdom.

Aster loved to travel, she said the only thing missing is that she didn't get a chance to travel the world. Aster loved the Lord and going to church for: Sunday School and church services. While attending Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, she was a part of the nurse's board, taught Sunday School and ushered for many years. She was a workaholic, and she loved plants, both indoor and outdoor.

Aster was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Robinson and Viola Lloyd Robinson, her siblings, Jimmy Robinson, Herman Robinson, Molly Mae Robinson, William Robinson, Ida Mae Robinson, Ben Robinson, Zack Robinson, George Robinson, Althea Robinson, Henrietta Robinson, Arlice Robinson, Rose Lee Robinson, Isaiah Robinson and Ora Robinson.

Aster is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Wade Haines, her sister, Ernestine Robinson-Pitt, her granddaughter, Shante J. Haines and her great-granddaughter, Ariah J. Pittman.
