Baby Anthony Carver, Jr. Obituary

We gather here today to honor and pay tribute to an exceptional life, that of Anthony Michael Carver Jr., affectionately known as A.J. or June bug. Born on September 28, 2023, and residing in South Bend, Indiana, Anthony brought joy, strength, and courage into the world. Despite his short time with us, his impact was profound, and he touched many lives.

Anthony was a radiant beacon of love and resilience. Known for his sweet nature and strength, he was his mother, Trayonna Reid's handsome boy and his father, Anthony Carver Sr.'s beloved June bug. His granny, Tracy Smith, cherished her visits with him and his twin brother, Unique, filling their room with the harmonious sounds of gospel music. His Aunt Tra'Nya Snelling delighted in sharing her candies with Anthony, a treat that he looked forward to. His life, albeit brief, was filled with love, laughter, and family. As Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Anthony leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

He is survived by his parents, Trayonna Reid and Anthony Carver Sr., his twin brother Unique, his Sister TaKia Carver, his grandparents Tracy Smith, Anthony Smith, Teron Reid, Lawanda Smith, Harold Smith, Daryl McGee, and Cindy Robinson. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles Tyjuan Reid, Tra'Nya Snelling, Jaquan Reid, Tayja Reid, Tamika Reid, Terrance Sr., Floyd Jr., Torrence Sr., Kale'a Smith, Shawn Spriggs, Michael Carlisle, Samuel Carlisle, and Damita Carlisle. His great-grandparents, Ramona Perkins, Floyd Sr., and Judith Taylor, and his godparents, Travis Lilly and Morgan Garber, will also remember him fondly.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandmother, LaTasha Folks. Although we grieve the loss of Anthony, we also celebrate his life and the joy he brought to us. His life was a testament to the human spirit's power, and as we remember Anthony, we remember his courage, his joy, and his love. Mark Twain said, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." Even though Anthony's life was brief, he lived fully in the love and joy of his family.

Please join us in honoring Anthony's life by sharing your cherished memories and photos on his memorial page. Let us remember Anthony not with sorrow, but with the happiness and love he brought into our lives.
