Betty Coley Obituary

Betty Mae Coley was born on October 1, 1953, in South Bend, Indiana. Betty was a robust woman. After high school, she became ill. She believed in Almighty Allah. She even had the fortitude to plan her own homegoing.


She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Clara L. Brooks, her grandad, Gilbert Brooks, her mother,  Loretta Jennings (Coley), her father, Tommy Patton and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. 


Betty Mae will be dearly missed. She was loved by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles and aunts. A special niece‐daughter, Konsinlyn and a special nephew, Tommy Washington. Her siblings, Patricia Smith and Rhonda Neal of South Bend, IN, Jerry Patton, Ernestine Moore Patricia Robinson of Chicago, IL. Tyron and Jalina. She will be loved and truly missed by all those who knew her.


Betty Mae's homegoing service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 1:00pm EDT at Alford's Mortuary, located at 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46601.
