POEM
THE DAY YOU SLIPPED AWAY
(WRITTEN WITH LOVE BY HIS LOVING WIFE)

Almost 57 years Oh! The memories I hold so dear I know nothing is perfect you see but I had you and you had me. Then came along 2 littles souls that you wouldn’t pass up a chance to hold. You guided, guarded and protected them along life’s rugged way, Oh! The precious gift we lost the day you slipped away. They grew up and brought you more little souls to Love, protect and for you to mold, you gave them your very all and taught them to be proud an to stand tall, people were drawn to you in such a loving way, Oh! The precious gift we lost the day you slipped away. I will forever LOVE you from the depths of my heart, so you see my Love we will never be apart. But anyone who knew you will agree when I say “ Oh! The Precious gift we lost the day you slipped away”. I LOVE you Poppy. Your Loving wife, Donna.
