Cameron Jackson

Cameron E. Jackson, born on the 22nd day of June in 1971, of Elkhart, Indiana, was a light in the lives of those who knew him. As an individual who held an infectious zest for life and an unwavering passion for sports, Cameron found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His love for basketball and football was not only a hobby but a testament to his team spirit and relentless determination. His work history included a maintenance position at Coast Distribution as well as Ramada Inn.

Cameron showcased his diligence and work ethic, always striving to do his best. Cameron's remarkable achievements include his involvement in the minor football league in Indianapolis, Indiana, a testament to his athletic prowess and commitment. He was a beacon of inspiration, a testament to the idea that with passion, perseverance, and an unyielding spirit, nothing is impossible.

Cameron Jackson is survived by his loving father, Larry Jackson of Memphis, TN, his mother, Norvella (Tony) Reed of Elkhart, IN, his daughters, Lanea Szymczak of Gladys, VA and Candice Partlow of Dominican Republic, his siblings, Shalean Lawrence of Indianapolis, IN, Aaron Lobbley, and Tony Reed of Elkhart, IN, his aunts, A. Lucille Boykin of South Bend, IN, Marlene Jackson of Holly Springs, GA, Carolyn Williams of Mishawaka, IN and Beverly Jackson of St. Paul, MN, and his uncles, Jeff (Okema) Jackson of Fairburn, GA, Stuart Jackson of Mishawaka, IN, James Jackson of Elkhart, IN, Demetris (Chris) Jackson of Buford, GA, and Mark (Dawn) Jackson of Bristol, IN. Cameron is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ollie M. Edmonds and Miss Laura Jackson, his grandfathers, Allen Cecil Jackson Sr. and Carl Jackson and his uncles; Quinncy Jackson, Allen Cecil Jackson Jr., and Michael Jackson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 15 July 2023 at 11:00 am EDT at St James African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 122 Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Elkhart, Indiana, 46516.
