Chandra Renee Armstrong, 53, was born March 1,1968 to Allen and Vera Armstrong in Chicago, Illinois. Chandra departed this world on September 20, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Armstrong; mother, Vera Armstrong; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents.
Chandra leaves to cherish her precious memory, four boys: Allen Armstrong, Sr., De’Andre Moore, Ja’Marcus Armstrong and Terrance Armstrong, all of South Bend, Indiana; two daughters: Antanasha Johnson and Arianna Armstrong, also of South Bend, Indiana; one daughter-in-law, Taylor Armstrong; 10 grandchildren, Dashawn Williams, Faith Williams, Ky’Aire Earl, Adeline Armstrong, Anova Armstrong, Allen Armstrong Jr., Kalani Shorter and Aviana Shorter, Tyaharri and Jaslene Armstrong; four sisters: Lillian Ford, Latice Armstrong, Marliesa Armstrong, all of Chicago, Illinois and Aisha Armstrong, South Bend, Indiana; two brothers: Albert Armstrong and Michael Armstrong, Chicago, Illinois; her favorite uncle, Howard Ford, Sr., South Bend; a host of aunts and uncles; three nieces: Arnetta (Johnnie) Anderson, Kierra Lipscomb and Ka'Mayah Walker; and one nephew, Anthwann (Kendra) Ford, all of South Bend, Indiana; along with a host of cousins and friends.
Chandra was full of life, joy and touched the hearts of many. She was a giver and a very loving soul. Her hobbies were playing cards and spending time with family. She was known for her hilarious sayings “Hey Nasty, I’ll be back.” On Black Stone and her funniest one “Aruugh.” We can’t forget how funny she was, she’ll light up the room wherever she was. Her laugh was contagious and full of bliss, Ms. Chandra Renee Armstrong will be truly missed.
