Daisy M. Winborn

Daisy M. Winborn 81 of South Gladstone Street South Bend IN passed away September 15, 2022 at Memorial Hospital South Bend IN. 

Daisy was born to Richard and Daisy (Hines) Taylor April 1, 1941 in Brownsville, Tennessee. She married Russell Winborn on February 20, 1969 in South Bend IN who preceded her in death in 1991. She worked 35 years for Wells Electronics.

Daisy was preceded in death by her son Anthony Taylor and her daughter Linda Faye Taylor, parents Richard and Daisy Taylor Sr., her husband Russell Winborn, her siblings Rose Bailey, Mary Emma Watson, Martha Gilbert, Annie Perez and Juanita Taylor, Joseph Taylor,  Richard Taylor Jr, Willie Taylor and Edward Taylor,  a special brother in law Eddie Bailey.

Daisy leaves to mourn her passing a daughter Veronica Taylor,  two sons  David (Tiffany) Winborn and Kevin (Jean) Winborn, many grandchildren,  many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild,, a sister Lillian Taylor, a brother James Taylor, a special sister in law  Viola Taylor, a daughter in law Niecey Taylor and a special niece Bethenia Watson along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Sister Winborn will be held on Friday  September 23, 2022, 11 A.M at Pentecostal Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. 1025 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Celebration of life service will be held at 12 Noon in the Cathedral. Pastor Graylin Watson will bring the word. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc.
