Damien Jermaine Wafford Jr. fondly known as "Woo" departed this earthly life & entered eternal rest on February 26, 2025.

Woo was born on October 31, 1993, in South Bend, IN.  to Damien Jermaine Wafford Sr. & the late LaKenya Nicole Robinson.

Woo was a loving Son, devoted Father, amazing big brother & the best uncle anyone could ask for. He has a close bond & held a special place on his heart for his beloved Grandmother; Veronica Henderson who helped raise him.

In his short time with us on earth, Woo achieved many accomplishments, giving his life to the Lord at the age of 11, being an active Father in his kid's life, obtaining his GED, welding certification, & passing his CDL test with a perfect score.

To know Woo was to love him. He loved spending time with his children, family, & close friends as they meant everything to him. Woo always made sure he took care of everyone around him that he adored. He had a great sense of humor & would have you laughing whenever he was present.

Woo's admiration for work life & his motivation to become a better him went unnoticed & has impacted others who praised his determination, dedication, & growth.

Woo leaves to cherish his loving memory, three sons; Daveyon Wafford, Damerion Barnes, & Myziah Gayles. His only princess, Mira Wafford, 9 sisters; DahMera Wafford, Samari Spencer, Meyonie Spencer, Dayonna Wafford, ZyAnna Wafford, Dae'Mi Wafford, Anijah White, Kamora Spann, & Jemuriona Jenkins. Five brothers; DayShawn Wafford, Deontai (Tanesia) Wafford, Keith Spann II, Dekari Wafford, & Daymien Wafford. 3 nieces, 9 nephews, three paternal Aunts; Shawndell Talbert-Kittrell, Danyel Jones, & Rolanda (David) Thompson. Three paternal uncles; John Wafford Jr., Terrance Wafford, & Gregory Jones, one maternal uncle; Marcus Robinson. Paternal grandmother; Veronica Henderson, maternal grandfather; Leroy Robinson, great-grandmother, Alice Plump & a great-aunt; Delores Alexander.

A special Mom; Ikisha Jennings, a special friend; Carmen Gandy, & 3 special cousins who were more like Aunts; Tina Adams, Trina "Pooh" Alexander, & Teresa "Gail" Coleman.

Woo was preceded in death by his mother; LaKenya Robinson, maternal grandmother; Sally Alexander Robinson, paternal grandfather; John B. Wafford Sr, great grandmother; Mary Bush Jones, & great grandparents; Algerine Sr. & Minnie Henderson and RC & Gloria Alexander.  

Our beloved Damien's passing has left a huge hole in our hearts. We're thankful for the 31 years of life GOD has given us with him. The memories are all we have left & they will forever be cherished. He will truly be missed.
