Mr. Donald (Flip) Bell Jr, born August 5th 1969, was called home on October 2nd 2022.
Anyone who met Flip was greeted with a smile and a tight hug. Flip had the kindest heart, and never met a stranger. His hobbies were coloring, watching wrestling, and enjoying outside. Throughout his life, he was an avid member of the Special Olympics and worked at Logan Industries for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Cory (Tanya) Penister of South Bend, two sisters: Rachel Carino of South Bend, and Sandra Johnson of Seattle, WA, two nephews John Penister and David Carrico of South Bend, an aunt Barbara Medina and an uncle Steve Anderson, three nieces: Kayla Penister of South Bend, Bella Garcia and Charlotte Carino both of South Bend. Flip also leaves behind several very special cousins, Patricia Medina, Michael Anderson, Alonzo(Stacy) Medina. James Anderson, Rosetta Anderson, Juanita (Andre) McKnight all of South Bend. His mother, Charlene Penister preceded him in death, as well as uncles Henry Jones, Robert Jones, Charles Anderson, Lee Arthur Anderson, James Anderson, grandma Rosetta Williams, and great grandmother Lessie Jones. He lived a good life and is already greatly missed.
Services for Mr. Bell will be held on Friday October 7, 2022 at 11 A.M in the chapel of Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior. Burial will follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc.
