With a heart that beat in rhythm with the pulse of nature, a spirit that soared with the freedom of the wind, and a soul that held the depth of love for her family, Donna Marie Norris embarked on her final adventure on October 30, 2025. Born in Elkhart, Indiana on December 15, 1959, Donna's life was a rich tapestry of creative endeavors, loving relationships, supportive gestures, and unforgettable moments.
Donna's journey took her to Three Rivers, Michigan, where she built a life that was as vibrant and varied as the landscapes she held so dear. In her professional life as a general laborer in a factory, she took pride in her work and contributed her skills with dedication. Yet, it was outside the confines of her workplace where Donna's spirit truly shone. An animal lover with a special bond with her horses, she found joy in every gallop and tranquility in every sunset viewed from the saddle. She was a woman of adventure, her spirit echoing the words of Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all."
Her most cherished adventure, however, was the one she embarked upon with her family. Donna was the loving wife to Archie Norris, the creative mother to Lee Love, Dewayne Harkins, Tashia Ash, Aaron Brown, Akeema Norris, and Archie Jr, and the supportive grandmother to her 20 grandchildren. Her love for them was the rhythm by which her heart danced, and their happiness was the melody that made her spirit soar. Preceded in death by her parents Don Riddle and Mildred Lawrence, Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and creativity.
Donna's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of adventure. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed. As we remember Donna, we invite you to share your memories and photographs on her memorial page, to honor her life and the love she shared with us all.
