Dorian was born to Dorian Noel and Marva Jean Leonard-Dent on September 29, 1993. Dorian graduated from Washington High School and attended the Art Institute in Indianapolis and Indiana University at South Bend. He was employed at Lippert Components-South Bend.
Dorian loved music, drawing, dancing and making people laugh. He enjoyed and was skilled at cutting hair. Dorian had a SMILE that lit up Our World. Dorian had a kind heart and loving spirit. As His Great Grandmother would say … “Dorian never met a Stranger!” Dorian would help anyone, anyway He could.
Mourning Dorian are his loving parents, Dorian Noel Dent and Marva Jean Leonard-Dent, Brother Kiel, Aunts Diane E. (Gloston) Jackson, Cheryl A. (Henterson) Carlisle, Rita C. Harris and Leanette (Willis) McCaster and Uncles Leonard Parks, Gary Dent of Washington, D.C., and Craig (Ernestine, Dorian’s Godmother) Leonard of Michigan City. Dorian also leaves Cousins, who are more like Brothers & Sisters, Michael LeSure, Tangela Parks Bradley, Antonio Talton, Greg Harris, Calvin (Breana) Daniels, Shawna (Dallas) Evans, D’Juan Brown, Christopher Harris, Measha & Jordan Dent, Devon LeSure, Marcus Parker, Monique Edwards, Trevin Lottie, Vernado Malone, Michael Lucas, Candie Lucas Copeland, His Godfather Ralph “Skip” Lucas and Special Friend, Simone Ashford. Dorian was blessed with and leaves a Crew of Friends that were more like Brothers, Brandon Reed, Kenny Green, Ethan Turner, Algerine Henderson, Travis Jones and Dustin Dennig, along with a host of family and friends.
Dorian is preceded in death by His Loving Big Sister & Heavenly Angel, Dionne Jenae, paternal Grandparents Daniel and Barbara Dent of Washington, D.C., maternal grandparents, Henry and Verneal Leonard, Uncle Daniel Ellis Dent and Godfather Jose Eley of Washington, D.C.
Visitation will be Friday, March 16th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Alford’s Mortuary and Services will be Saturday, March 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
