Earnestine Harmon Obituary

With great love and respect, we celebrate the life of Earnestine Harmon, born on April 4, 1953, in West Memphis, AR, and who passed away on December 11, 2024. Earnestine, a spirited and charismatic soul, was known for her infectious laughter and her knack for bringing joy into any room she entered. She was a loving mother, a cherished sister, and an adored grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Christian and professed her faith in Jesus Christ. For 27 years, Earnestine was a proud resident of Jackson, Michigan.

During her time there, she worked as a dedicated housekeeper, giving the same care and attention to her work as she did to her family and her hobbies. Earnestine was a force on the dance floor, a formidable card player, and a master of cracking jokes that could make anyone laugh. She had a funny and charming way of making every day feel like a special occasion. Above all, Earnestine was a family woman, and her love for her kin was her guiding light.

Earnestine leaves behind her daughters Belinda Foster (Golden Gibson, III), Katrina (Darrick) Lee, and Angel Price; her son Willie Harmon, Sr; and her siblings Odell Davis, Jr. (Darlene), Willie Mae Miller, Catherine Foster, and Viola King. She was a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren Laquesha Foster, Erika Woods, Eric Woods, Darrick Lee, Jr., Jeremy (Jacquitta) Lee, Austin Price, Krystina Scott, Faylin Goodwin, Tyson Lee, Niaah Harmon, Xavion Harris, Willie Harmon, Jr, Jadelyn Gibson, Zakkiah Harmon, Liante Richardson, Julante Richardson, Nariyah Harmon, Camira Harmon, and Carmelo Walton and a great-grandmother to 8 and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Foster and Lucille Davis, her sisters EarthaBell Cummings and Diane Foster, and her granddaughters Gabrielle Gibson and Kennedy Lee. "Therefore, we do not lose heart…for our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)
