Ella (Statum) Pfeifer

Mrs. Ella Pfeifer was called home at 4:55PM on Friday, March 25, in her daughter Elizabeth James residence in Kentwood Michigan.

She was blessed with 88 years of life. Ella was born to Hattie Statum on June 12, 1933, in Albany, Georgia. Ella and Charles Pfeifer were united in wedlock on September 3, 1978. Ella loved attending church and singing in the choir. Ella always had an open door for her children, grandchildren and anyone who walked passed the Pfeifer residence where she and Charles resided for over 40 years.

Loving family members who survive to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her three daughters, Ella Taylor and Elizabeth James of Grand Rapids, and Gloria Burton of Indianapolis; four sons, Ulysses Williams, Larry Williams, Lorenzo Williams and Arthur Williams of Grand Rapids, MI. Ella is proceeded in death by her husband Charles Pfeifer and her two sons Walter Williams and Eddie Williams. Along with many other relatives and grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pfeifer will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 12 Noon at Alford's Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, IN, 46601 with a visitation from 11 a.m until time of services. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
