Eric John Moses Brown, of South Bend, IN passed away peacefully On Monday, October 7, 2024. At age 55, the angels gathered to carry Mr. Brown to his eternal home. Born on July 6, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois. Eric was the fifth of six children born to the late Barbra Jean Thomas Brown and Joe Moses “Bud” Brown. Eric accepted Christ as his savior at an early age at Sunrise Baptist MB church. He later attended First Corinthian Baptist church. Eric received his education in the Chicago Public School System and graduated from Hubbard High School. Years later Eric continued his education at Indiana State University of South Bend. He spent many years dedicated to his Car Wash Business. He enjoyed gambling, and his favorite hobby was buying and selling cars. Eric aka “TC”was known for his vibrant demeanor, when he spoke, his words carried weight. A man of simple pleasures. He found joy in maintaining his home, keeping his cars in pristine condition, being around family and enjoying his grandchildren. Throughout his life, TC touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Eric is survived by his three daughters, Brittany Brown of South Bend, IN, Seikras Brown of Atlanta, GA and Ayrion Brown of Atlanta, GA He also has two sons, Jordan Brown of Indianapolis, IN and John Babatunde of Chicago, IL. His family was the center of his life. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Jay’vion Jackson, Levi Brown, Justice Avila and Ma’Kenzie Brown. Preceded in death by his parents, Barbra Thomas Brown and Joe Mosses Brown; and his sisters, Sabrina and Sytheria Brown. Eric's memory will also be carried on by his surviving siblings, Rommel (Beth) Thomas of Mounds, IL, Kimberly Brown of Evansville, IN and Lavashetta Brown of Atlanta, Ga. He is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Each one of his lady friends, past & present had a special place in his heart.. like the boss player he was! Eric’s love, wisdom, and strength will continue to endure in the hearts of those who loved him. We shall always miss him, but like him, we shall also endure. "Death is the golden key that opens the palace of eternity."
