Eric T. White

Eric T. White departed this life peacefully June 17, 2022.
 

Eric was born September 28, 1964, to Dorothy White in Buchanan, Michigan. 

After the passing of his mother, he was raised by his grandparents John Lewis and Jewell White. Eric attended Buchanan High School where he played both football and basketball. His amazing athletic abilities won him awards and a scholarship for college.
Eric married his loving wife Sharon on August 3rd, 1991. He worked as a skilled tradesman, taking much pride in his work.
 

Eric had a passion for cooking ( he was indeed a Master on the grill), keeping a well-kept lawn, watching NFL & NBA games, playing golf, watching Western movies (his current favorite was The Harder They Fall on Netflix), R&B music and west coast hip-hop. He also loved spending time with his family and having a good time.
 

 Family members left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Sharon, daughters Monique, Ariyan, Erica (of South Bend, IN.) and Jayla Bibbs (of Niles, MI.). Grandchildren- Elijah, Imani, Amir and Jhakri  (of South Bend, IN.)  Sister- Shanelle (Keith) White-Hudson, Aunt- Shirley Burgen, Uncle- Eddie White, Nephew- Marzell H.( all of Grand Rapids, MI.) Aunt- Janet White-Hatcher (of Niles, MI.) and a host of other close and extended family members and friends.
 

Eric was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy White, Grandparents John Lewis and Jewell White, Uncle Johnnie White(favorite uncle Buddy White), and Nephew Khristopher Holbrook.
 

Services Celebrating the life, love, labor, and legacy of Eric White will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 11 A.M in the chapel of Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46601. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc. - South Bend.
