Etta M. Duke,78 beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to the Lord on August 17, 2024 in Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. 


She is survived by her 3 daughters: Karla and Karmen Duke of Mishawaka, IN and Kelli (Martin) Duke of South Bend, IN, one son, Joe (Nancee) Duke of Indianapolis, Indiana and one niece, Regina (Tim) Brown of South Bend, IN; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Arthur (Rosemary) Kelley and Fred (Patricia) Kelley  of South Bend, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. 


Etta was one of the mothers at Gethsemane Church of God. She was employed at Head Start as a Regional President and traveled around the United States. She was a lover of the Golden Girls, westerns, and word find books. She was a loving mother to all related and unrelated. She was a caregiver to her parents and siblings who preceded her in death.
