Frank James Rogers, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 18, 2026.
Frank, known to many as "Frank Nitty" was born on June 14, 1955, in Drew, Mississippi to Ida Mae Glosson and Willie James Rogers, Sr. Frank worked many years as a General Laborer, as well as Maintenance Staff for the South Bend Century Center. He was a fun-loving father, brother and Uncle who loved music, dancing, shooting pool, working out, weight-lifting, swimming, basketball, tennis, classic cars, dominos and playing cards.
Frank was married to Lisa Haley-Rogers from 1989 to 1994 and from that union Frank James Rogers Jr. was born. They survive along with his daughter, LaTasha Baskerville of Chicago, Illinois as well as brothers John Rogers (Hope) of Calumet City, Illinois, Willie (Lori) Rogers, Jessie Rogers and Calvin Rogers all of South Bend; Ruby (Earl) Gray of Elkhart, Indiana, Mary Rogers, Rose Hunt (John-deceased), Bettie (Robert) Lovingood, Lillie Mae Rogers and Vangelean Glosson, also, all of South Bend; grandchildren Dewayne, Raresha, Miracle, Empress Jolie, great grandchildren, Alyanna, Elijah and Aliyah, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Frank was preceded in death by his Mother, Ida Mae Glosson and father, Willie James Rogers, Sr.; brother, Theodie Rogers and sister Willie Mae Davis and her husband, Dave Davis.
