Mrs. Frankie Mae Alexander was born on March 8, 1950 in Kirkland, Tennessee to the union of the late Jessie Ann (Gentry) Radley and the late William Walter Radley. Her stepfather was Felix Lawrence. Sheentered into eternal rest on November 29, 2023.
Frankie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age. Her early education was in Tennessee and after relocating to South Bend, Indiana, she earned a college degree. She retired from Better World Books and the former Bendix Corporation.
She was very close to her family and enjoyed spending time with them; especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and shopping and she and her husband were always well dressed.
Along with her parents and stepfather, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Katie B. Moore and Margaret Faye Scales; two brothers, George “Snookum” and William “Billy” Radley and bonus son-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Reverend Vertis Lee Alexander; a son, James “Petey” (Tish) Radley; a stepdaughter, Antoinette “Angie” (Edward) White; grandchildren, Bridney Radley, Diamonte Radley, Delesia Radley, eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Carlotta Lawrence and Sarah Olgesby; a bonus daughter Denise Taylor along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many devoted friends.
