Gladys E. Thomas

Gladys Ernestine (Duley) Thomas, 89, of North Carrollton Avenue, in  Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at her residence on Friday, April 2, 2021. Gladys was born May 4, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri to Andy and Sally Hill who both preceded her in death.

Gladys moved to Indiana in 1977. She married Victor Thomas on June 8, 1968, who also preceded her in death in 2014. She was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she was a very active member. She served as Treasurer of Usher Board.

Survivors left to cherish her memory include her son, Victor (Karen) Thomas of Indianapolis, Indiana; a step-son, Keith Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri; two step-daughters: Victoria Thomas of Los Angeles, California and Patricia Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren: Terrance Sims Thomas and Victoria Thomas both of South Bend, Indiana; seven grandchildren; two brothers: Tom Duley and Johney Duley both of Kansas City, Missouri; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
