Gregory Jackson was called home on December 28, 2021. Gregory and twin brother Douglas were born on November 21, 1958, to the union of Alvergie and Gloston Jackson Sr.
Gregory was a long-time resident of the Eastside, Madison Street, South Bend, Indiana. Gregory was a graduate of John Adam's High School and participated on the wrestling team. Gregory was also a father of twin daughters: Shalanda and Monica Jackson, along with younger daughter, Chantel Jackson.
Gregory worked tirelessly as a general laborer until he was no longer able to do so. He loved being with family, cooking, and old Western TV and movies. He was a protective, and active father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memory daughters: Monica and Chantel Jackson of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren: Tyler and Tiyana Jackson, Mikaela Crumbley, Braelyn Fleming, and Jakeyda Jackson; one great-grandson, Jonah Jackson all of South Bend, Indiana. He also leaves his twin brother, Douglas (Shreerita) Jackson, Gloston (Diane) Jackson, Floyd Jackson, Dwayne Jackson, Ray (Lisa) Jackson, all of South Bend, Indiana, and Demetrius (DeShaun) Jackson of Georgia; one sister also of Georgia, Donna Goodman; a special niece, Tracey Lynne (Johnny) who was more like a sister. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Bridget Brunley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Alvergie and Gloston Jackson Sr.; a daughter; Shalanda; sister-in-law, Sherry Jackson; and a brother-in-law, Ron Goodman (Donna); and two nieces: Kristie and Tameko Jackson.
Gregory's zest for life will be missed by all that loved him.
