With profound love and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life and legacy of Ikeith Jennings, who was born on July 20, 1960, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Ira Jennings, Sr. and Dolores Dover Jennings. He peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.
Raised in South Bend, Ikeith attended the local schools and proudly graduated from Washington High School. Throughout his life, he exemplified resilience, determination, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. His warm smile, compassionate heart, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ikeith believed that family was life’s greatest blessing. He found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved, especially his treasured grandchildren, whose lives brought him immeasurable happiness and pride. The relationships he cultivated throughout his life were a reflection of his loyal heart and genuine kindness. Though he is no longer with us in body, his love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever be cherished through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the countless lives he touched.
He leaves to honor and cherish his precious memory his loving daughter, Ikisha Nicole Jennings of Indianapolis, Indiana; his bonus daughter, Kenisha Bethel of South Bend, Indiana; his special daughter, LaShay Avant of Indianapolis, Indiana; his special son, Damien Wafford of Indianapolis, Indiana; his four beloved grandchildren, Je’Muriona Jenkins, Dayonna Wafford, Dekari Wafford, and Dae’Mi Wafford, one Great granddaughter Icelynn Renee Jenkins all of Indianapolis, Indiana; his devoted brother, Ivan Jennings, Sr. of Orlando, Florida; his lifelong friend, Pamela Hampton of South Bend, Indiana; his special friend, Lisa Alford of Tampa, Florida; his special nephew, Martinez Disco (Tamicka Marbley) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his beloved grand dog, Dior; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ira Jennings, Sr. and Dolores Dover Jennings; his brothers, Ira Jennings and Ival Jennings; and his sisters, Iris Jennings Crockett and Ilise Jennings.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Ikeith’s life was one of purpose, love, and enduring faith. His legacy will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know him, and his memory will remain forever etched in our hearts.
