Obituary
Mr. James P. Dent 55 of South Bend IN, passed away September 22, 2022 at Fountain View Nursing Facility Mishawaka IN.
James was born to Tommy and Theresa (Smith) Dent on August 22, 1967 in South Bend IN., who both preceded him in death along with his grandparents Charles & Willie Mae Dent, a niece Nikki Richmond and nephew Cornelius Dent.
James loved music, going for rides, being outside, wearing his dad hat and wouldn’t go without putting one on.
James leaves to mourn his passing seven sisters Janie (Daryl) Moran, Anita (Gregory) Scott, Angela (Verdell) Williams Jr, Rita (Eddie) Myers, Laurie Dent and Regina Dent all of South Bend IN and Deborah Dent of Cleveland OH, two brothers Tommy (Cynthia) Dent of Glendale Arizona and Charles Dent of South Bend IN. one special auntie Charlene Williams, a special nephew Andre along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
Services wil be held at Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana 46601 on Friday September 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., with burial following at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will occur from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary Inc.
