James Arthur Jennings

James Arthur Jennings “Jimmy Mac” “Dancing Bear”.

Born to the late Homer and Mamie Jennings, James was born on Jan 19,1952 in South Bend, IN. 

James departed his life on April 7th 2022.

James served in the U.S. Military and was honorably discharged. Jimmy Mac was a dancing machine and loved having a good time and being around  his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and loved reading the bible.  He was highly intelligent. To know him was to love him, We are truly gone miss Jimmy Mac and cherish his memories forever.

Left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Erma Odom, Helen Wingo, Beatrice Jennings and Gloria Jennings and brothers Joseph Jennings and Ernest Jennings all of South Bend, IN.  Also, Aunts and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends and his good friend Donald Braizer. 

James was proceeded in death by his Father Homer Jennings Sr. Mother Mamie Jennings, Sisters Michele Jennings, Ida Owens, Dorothy Jennings Brothers Jerry Jennings, and Homer J Jennings Jr.

Services for Mr. Jennings will be held Friday April 15, 2022 at 12 Noon, with a visitation one hour prior at 11 a.m. all at in the chapel of Alford’s Mortuary 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, IN, 46001. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
