Jaylen J. Parchman

Jaylen Justin Parchman, 20, of South Bend Indiana transitioned unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the age of 20. Jaylen was born June 27, 2001, to Gussie and Roderick Parchman in South Bend Indiana.

Jaylen graduated from Riley High School in 2020 where he excelled in wrestling. He worked in the stocking department for Wal-Mart. He loved basketball and music and he was an Indiana donor.

Jaylen is survived by his parents Gussie (Joseph) Northern and Roderick Parchman both of South Bend Indiana; two sisters: Deja (Winchester) Boyd of Tokyo Japan, and Jeda Parchman; three brothers Kynast Frison, Roderick Parchman Jr., and Jaysen Parchman; maternal grandparents Dianne and Larry Hardy Sr.; and a niece, Eliana Gitau; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Jaylen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Willard and Geneva Parchman; a brother, Jashawn Parchman; an aunt, Janice Olive; uncles: Issac Williams and Ted Jones.
