Joseph E. Williams Sr.

Joseph Edward Williams Sr., 82, passed away at 2:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation, South Bend, Indiana.

Joseph was born February 12, 1939, to Ester Hempfield in Bono, Arkansas. He was a very private person who loved playing pool and watching television. He worked maintenance for the South Bend Housing Authority. He was married to Tarrell (Jones) Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ester Williams.

Joseph leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Tarrell Williams; one daughter, Carmen Suggs both of South Bend, Indiana; three sons: Joseph Edward Williams of North Carolina, Demetrius Williams and Timothy Allen Williams both of South Bend, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
